<body> <h1>Welcome</h1> <p>Wing Chun Kung Fu is a Southern Chinese Boxing system, which is widely believed to have been developed about 300 years ago, initially by a nun from Shaolin. It is generally recognised as being an efficient close quarter combat system.<br> <BR> Full Circle Wing Chun is based in Bournemouth, Dorset and is run by Instructor Sai Jun Mak, it is a branch school under Sifu Alan Orr of Ying Hung Wing Chun Kuen. Sifu Orr is the leading European representative of Si Gung Robert Chu; therefore, the family of Wing Chun we practice and teach is Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun Kuen. Full Circle Wing Chun is the only club in the Dorset / Hampshire region to teach this method of Wing Chun Kung Fu.<br> <br> Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun Kuen emphasizes the use and development of 'body structure' as the core element of training in our system; this is an essential skill which must be developed in order to acquire the ability to effectively control and strike an opponent when under pressure in a combative scenario. In effect, this method teaches the practitioner to maintain control of the space around them, as Sifu Orr says, "Be the Master of Your Universe" - incidentally, this phrase, to me, holds much value, not only in terms of the application of combat skill but more importantly in terms of personal development.<br> <br> As an additional point of interest, Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun Chinese Boxing has been fully tested in amateur, semi-professional and professional NHB (no holds barred) fight competitions, and has achieved and continues to achieve highly successful results.<br> <br> I would like to thank Sifu Alan Orr for accepting me as his student and for being a source of incredible inspiration.
